Paving Refurbishment

Block paving refurbishment is done in 4 stages -

Stage 1: The block paved area is first treated with fungicidal wash or weed killer to get rid of any fungal spores and algae on the surface.

Stage 2: The paved area is then pressure cleaned to remove the build up of weeds and any dirt or grime that may have built up over time. Any patches of oil should be treated and cleaned off at this stage.

Stage 3:  Kiln dried sand is then swept back into the joints to stabilise the paving and stop any movement.

Stage 4: Smartseal block paving sealants are then sprayed* onto the surface of the block paved area. This will enhance the look of the block paving and give it much better protection in the future.

* The sealant is sprayed in two applications to ensure each individual block and sand is well covered.
